Alexandros Morochovski
Managing Director
Alexandros, or “Alex,” is responsible for leading Icona Capital’s investment strategy and execution. With a background in distressed real estate and structured finance, Alex has structured and managed over €1 billion in assets across various sectors. Before moving to the buy side, he sat with J.P. Morgan within the Special Opportunities division, structuring over €2 billion in real estate lending and loan acquisitions.


Federico Reschigna
Vice President
Federico is responsible for sourcing and executing Real Estate deals across Europe at Icona Capital, with a primary focus on data center acquisitions. He brings over eight years of real estate acquisitions experience, combining deep expertise in data centers with a broad track record across logistics, office, and retail. He has worked at PURE DC (Oaktree Capital’s data center platform), and at Thor Equities, where he focused on logistics and data center investments. He began his acquisitions career at Cromwell Property Group, covering office, logistics, and retail acquisitions across Europe. Federico holds an M.Sc. in Real Estate Investment from Cass Business School.


Bruno Vannini
Managing Director
Bruno Vannini has extensive experience in infrastructure, data centres, and real estate investments, with a strong background in strategic transactions and project management. Before joining SWI Group, he held senior roles at SBKG & Associés, Clifford Chance, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where he provided legal counsel on high-profile investments. He also served as a Board Member at Globe Trade Centre, contributing to international trade and investment strategies. At SWI Group, Bruno leads Alternatives alongside Rafael Cerezo, overseeing investment operations, capital relationships, and strategic growth initiatives across private equity, venture capital, liquid strategies, and special situations.


Michala Chatel
Head of Marketing
Michala Chatel has extensive experience in marketing, brand strategy, and communications across the luxury, travel, and corporate sectors. Previously, she was Managing Partner at Ultima Collection, overseeing global operations and brand management. She has also held key roles at The Travel Corporation, IATA, Clarins Fragrance Group, and IBM Software Group. At SWI Group, Michala leads marketing, brand positioning, and communications, overseeing campaigns, digital marketing, and strategic initiatives to strengthen the group’s institutional presence.


Klara Bujdoso
General Counsel
With 20 years of legal experience, Klara Bujdoso is a highly skilled real estate lawyer specializing in complex, high-value transactions, including those in the data center and infrastructure sectors. Her extensive background includes work with leading international law firms such as Dentons and PwC’s legal advisory, private equity, and senior in-house roles, including serving as General Counsel for Globe Trade Center, a publicly listed company. Based in Icona’s Luxembourg office, Klara plays a pivotal role in overseeing legal matters related to all data center projects, with a strong focus on real estate and related investments.


Rafael Cerezo
Head of Alternatives, SWI Group
Rafael Cerezo has extensive experience in investment management, special situations, and restructuring. He began his career at Barclays Plc before spending over 15 years at M&G Investments, where he was a senior investor and fund manager, most recently serving as co-head of the restructuring and special situations team in London. At SWI Group, Rafael leads Alternatives alongside Bruno Vannini, overseeing investment operations, capital relationships, and strategic growth initiatives across private equity, venture capital, liquid strategies, and special situations.


Mark McLaughlin
CEO Real Assets, SWI Group
Mark McLaughlin brings extensive experience in real estate investment, platform development, and strategic growth. With a track record of overseeing more than €5 billion in transactions across Europe, he has successfully built and scaled investment platforms, delivering long-term value for investors and partners. Before founding MC Property, Mark held various leadership positions, including Managing Director, Europe at Cromwell Property Group, responsible for €4 billion in Assets Under Management across 12 European countries, with a focus on Core+ and Value-Add strategies. At SWI Group, Mark leads the Real Assets Business Unit, where he oversees operations, capital relationships, investment strategies, and growth initiatives.


Niall Brunker
Co-Head of UK
Niall is a real estate investment professional with 20 years’ experience in commercial and residential real estate investment, development, equity, and debt. He has transacted or financed over £2bn of European real estate, including over 1,000 residential units. Niall was previously with Castlelake, L.P., a global alternative asset manager with $20bn AUM, where he led UK & Ireland real estate and real estate credit. Prior to that, he was Investment Director at Development Securities plc, a FTSE Main Market-listed real estate investor and developer. Niall began his career in the Capital Markets Group at Cushman & Wakefield in London. Niall holds an LLB (Law and Accounting) from Queen’s University, Belfast, and an MSc (Real Estate) from the University of Aberdeen. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2007.


Jonathan McDowell
Co-Head of UK
Jonathan McDowell is a real estate specialist with 18 years’ experience across all major real estate sub-sectors and capital structures. He has transacted over £2bn of assets in the UK and Europe. Jonathan previously established Kingsland Capital, a co-investing operating partner that successfully partnered with institutional and private capital on a range of opportunistic strategies. Prior to Kingsland Capital, Jonathan was a fund manager at LaSalle Investment Management, where he was responsible for over £2.5bn of AUM across core and value-add mandates. Prior to this, Jonathan was with King Sturge (now part of JLL) and C. Hoare & Co., a private bank. Jonathan holds an MSc (Real Estate) from Cass Business School, London, and an MMath (Pure Mathematics) from the University of St Andrews.
